Advent Workshop and Nativity Play

The advent workshop on Sunday afternoon 7th Decemberwas attended by over 100 children of all ages, making Christmas decorations for the church. Paint and glue abounded and we look forward to seeing the results, which are always fantastic.

The Pilgrims' Nativity Play, "Creation to Nativity" was performed in the church on Sunday afternoon 14th December to a large and appreciative audience.The readings were illustrated by tableaux, and to quote St Luke "Suddenly a great army of angels appeared!" A happy occasion

Come to the Christmas Carol Service at St Peter's at 6.30 pm on Sunday 21st December, followed by mulled wine and mince pies in St Peter's Hall.

Carol Service by Candlelight

Merrily to Christmas 3.00 pm and 4.30 pm. Children are invited to the making of the crib. Please come dressed as a shepherd or an angel.

Midnight Mass

Organ Recitals Series 2009

First Communion of Christmas at 11.15 pm on Christmas Eve conducted by the Bishop of Croydon, the Right Reverend Nicholas Baines. All are welcome.

Organ recitals will be given by distinguished organists throughout 2009. The dates of the programme of recitals planned for the year will be given early in the New Year, with full details being given nearer the time of each concert.

Copies of the Parish Magazine are delivered free of charge to every household in the Parish of Limpsfield.. If you are not a resident copies are available from the church or from the parish office (tel no 01883-723183). The parish office is situated next to the rectory opposite the church, on the other side of the High Street..If you would like to contribute any news, stories etc. to the magazine please contact the editor, details of whom can be found in the magazine.
